To pass the time I went next door to Harrah’s (which unfortunately has $10 minimum bets too) but returned to CR as soon as the tables got less crowded (Harrah’s and CR are only 50 ft. One morning I arrived at the CR at 10:30 am and both craps tables completely crammed full and everyone looked like they were having a great time, they were whooping and hollering. Casino Royale is an older place and certainly not flashy or big, but I could leave the Mirage (which had minimum bets of $10 to $25 on the craps tables depending on the time of day) and be at the Casino Royale within 5 minutes.
I was looking for a $5 limit craps table and after inquiring about it on TripAdvisor found out that Casino Royale always has $5 minimums for craps, I’m not sure about minimums for blackjack and poker. The Mirage is right across the Las Vegas Blvd. We stayed at the Mirage Hotel and Casino.
